- PreviewWe read with great interest of the article ‘‘Clinical outcomes of medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction using FiberTape and knotless SwiveLock anchors” by Sasaki et al. [1]. The authors investigated the clinical outcomes of medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction using polyester high-strength suture tape with knotless anchors [1]. This interesting and meaningful study demonstrated that reconstruction of the MPFL with suture tape augmentation maybe a valuable alternative for restoration of patella stability, without requiring harvesting autologous tendon grafts.
